Current: Senior Chief Petty Officer/E-8 US Navy Reserves

Carter returned home in January of 2003 after being called to active duty for one year to support
Operation Noble Eagle/Enduring Freedom. He was stationed in San Diego, CA with the Navy Boat Police.

Carter joined the Navy in February 1993 and served four years on the USS Shiloh CG-67, a guided missile cruiser, as a Quartermaster navigating the ship. During that time, he was deployed twice to the Persian Gulf. He supported Operation Desert Strike on his second deployment.

Carter is married to Beth, and they have a daughter, Hayden and a son, Gage.
